aftercare
How to care for your result
Proper aftercare protects your investment and ensures the best healed result. Full written instructions are provided after every appointment.
Days 1–3
Immediate aftercare
- Blot gently with a clean tissue to remove any lymph fluid — do not rub.
- Keep the area dry — no water, sweat, or steam for 10 days.
- Do not apply makeup to the treated area.
- Expect mild redness, tenderness, and initial darkening — this is normal.
Days 4–14
Healing phase
- Color will appear darker and may begin to flake or peel — do not pick.
- Apply the provided aftercare ointment as instructed — very thin layer only.
- Avoid sun exposure, swimming, saunas, and intense workouts.
- Do not apply any skincare products to the area (retinol, acids, etc.).
Weeks 3–6
True color appears
- Once fully healed the true color emerges — softer and more natural than immediately after.
- Some areas may appear lighter — this is corrected at your 6–8 week touch-up.
- Resume normal skincare but avoid strong acids or retinol near the treated area.
- Wear SPF to protect and extend results.
6–8 weeks
Perfecting touch-up
- Your included touch-up session is where the result is refined and perfected.
- Shape, density, and color are adjusted based on how your skin has healed.
- Do not book this earlier — the skin must be fully healed first.
