Yes, it may be possible to create new brows over old microblading, but the answer depends on what is still visible in the skin. The age of the previous work is only one factor. Its color, saturation, shape and position matter just as much.

Why old pigment changes the plan
Fresh hairstrokes need a relatively clean background to remain visible. If old pigment is still dark, gray, red, blue, uneven or positioned outside the shape you now want, placing new strokes over it can make the brow look busier rather than more natural.
A new procedure also cannot erase an old shape. Pigment can add color, but it does not remove color that sits outside the redesigned brow. This is why a careful evaluation is more useful than a simple yes or no answer online.
When nano brows may be possible
Nano brows use a machine to create fine hairstroke patterns. They are not traditional microblading. Nano may be considered when previous pigment is very soft, light and well positioned, and when the skin and desired finish support crisp healed strokes.
If the old pigment is clearly visible, nano hairstrokes generally should not be placed over it. The background can swallow the new detail, and adding more pigment may make future correction harder.
When powder or combo brows may be a better option
Powder brows create controlled shading rather than isolated hairstrokes. Because the technique is designed to build a soft veil of color, it may be more suitable than nano for some clients with faded previous work. Combo brows combine strokes with shading, but the existing pigment still has to support the design.
Powder is not an automatic cover-up solution. The old shape must still be acceptable, and the healed color must be light enough for a new plan. For a major redesign, we generally want the previous pigment to be about 80% faded before proceeding.
What we need before you book
Send clear photos in natural light with no brow pencil, concealer, filter or fresh tint. Include one straight-on photo and one from each side. Tell us when the previous work was performed, whether it has been touched up, and whether any removal has been attempted.
Photo approval helps prevent an unsuitable booking, but the final decision is made in person after the skin and pigment are assessed. If a new service is appropriate, the proposed shape is mapped and approved before pigment is placed.
Fading, correction and removal are different
Fading means allowing the pigment to soften naturally. Correction usually means working within an acceptable existing shape and adjusting the healed appearance with a suitable technique. Removal reduces unwanted pigment so a cleaner redesign may become possible.
Adding skin-colored or flesh-toned pigment over unwanted color is not the same as removing it. It can complicate future work. An honest wait-or-remove recommendation protects the long-term result, even when it is not the fastest answer.
What the appointment and pricing look like
Approved brow services are $380 for the initial appointment. Most clients need a separate perfecting touch-up 4–12 weeks later for $190. The initial visit usually takes about two to three hours and includes consultation, mapping, color selection and the procedure.
A $50 deposit is required to reserve the appointment and is applied toward the service. Future maintenance is commonly considered around 12–18 months. Work performed after 18 months is treated as a new procedure because the full design and color plan must be reassessed.
